HARVESTING WATERMELONS

2/6/2018

From the early morning to around 6:30 pm, parents are busy harvesting watermelons and vegetables, which will be sold in the main town.

Our students are also one of the busiest students I've met; they go to school, carry water and help their parents work in the fields.

Over the weekend, a few teachers and I were invited to a student's home, where we enjoyed some watermelons and afterwards, the parents kindly gave me two more watermelons to bring home. Thank you!
