It is essential that we develop a workable blueprint for honest virtual communication such that as we transition to online feedback with intermittent visits, teachers will be able to carry on and thrive independently.
This was my the first time teaching at a government school. I was concerned how this would go.
Last year, our trainee said he didn't like teaching. He kept telling me so. He said that it is a necessity. It must be done in order to give the children a chance. He feels strongly about injustice and seems to want to prevent it.
Our trainee can now listen to my honest suggestions and I think that's the first step to progress.
We have a couple of new intake students after the summer break. These students are more fidgety than our regulars; they have not yet been trained. This is an interesting question; if our classes are so engaging, why do students need to be trained to cope?
Shy and strange faces became smiley and friendly and students started to treat me warmly now. They greet me and spy at me every time they go across our yard.

Then students went around and led most of the activities by themselves after I gave instructions.
